About Barefoot Resort
Barefoot Resort Condos and Barefoot Yacht Club Villas are the finest Myrtle Beach condos. These condos are beautiful and spacious, with upkeep on them being so excellent they are like new each time a guest checks in. These condos are luxurious and spacious with outstanding views of Barefoot Landing and the Barefoot Marina that can be seen from every condo.
For thousands of years, Barefoot Resort was a thriving ecosystem for marine animals, deer, and various wildlife that inhabited the ocean marshland just west of the Atlantic Ocean. This area was hunted and traversed by the Pee Dee, Wampee, Waccamaw, and other native tribes for generations.
In the late 1700s, President Washington traveled through this region on his way down South from what is now Washington, D.C., using the trail that is now known as Kings Highway.
The present-day Barefoot Resort began as a modest shopping village named Barefoot Landing in the late 1970s. Tourists vacationing in North Myrtle Beach were drawn to the site, and Barefoot Landing experienced explosive growth in the 1980s.
By the 1990s, the concept expanded to include the four world-class golf courses that are now located on the property.
In this century, we have added spacious and meticulously maintained Myrtle Beach vacation condos, constructed by Centex Homes, as well as the luxurious Barefoot Yacht Club Villas and Barefoot North Tower.
Barefoot Resort's development continued with the addition of more Golf Villas, and today there are fifteen condominium communities on the property.
We are immensely proud of the new Myrtle Beach Resort facility and believe that there is no other like it in our area, or anywhere along the North Carolina or South Carolina coast.
