Memorial Day Activities in Myrtle Beach 2023

The official kickoff of the Summer 2023 season is upon us with Memorial Day Weekend! If you're in town visiting we've got a few ideas of things you can do to keep busy.

Even if it rains, Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show is always a great time for kids and adults alike. Watch their trained performers "battle" on land, on deck, in water, and high above full-sized pirate ships in a 15-foot deep indoor hideaway lagoon!  Not only does the show feature an epic pirate battle, but they also have beautiful mermaids, tropical birds, and salty sea lions! Get ready to enjoy an evening filled with delicious food, high-diving stunts and acrobatics, sword fighting, and more.

Once the sun comes back out, take a trip to Myrtle Waves Water Park to cool off! Rated one of America's 11 best water parks by iHeart Radio, the park has been operating each season since opening on June 1, 1985. As of the 2019 season it featured 22 slides and attractions across 12 water rides.

There’s just a special place in the hearts of families everywhere for that old-time warm, friendly amusement park by the sea. Family Kingdom features more than 35 thrilling rides. Come enjoy the Twist ‘n Shout steel roller coaster, the interactive Jump Around Dune Buggies, and the Magic Bikes. Of course, your favorites are ready and waiting. Hold on as the Swamp Fox wooden roller coaster takes your breath away at every turn, splash down on our Log Flume, or bounce a bit on our bumper cars.

We hope everyone has a safe Memorial Day Weekend full of family time, but of course, full of rememberance and honor for all those who have served our country!
