The Best Rainy Day Activities in Myrtle Beach 2023

April showers bring May flowers right! So what are the best things to do in Myrtle Beach when its raining?

This answer probably starts with the question of who we are looking to entertain. Are you in town with the family and little kids or a guys golf trip? We’ll just hit some of our favorites and if you need some more advice, reach out to us anytime for some locals input!

Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach:

Located at Broadway at the Beach, you’ll be shocked at how great of an aquarium you’ll find. Pet the stingrays, hop on the moving walkway through the underwater tunnel, check out the penguins exhibit or Rainbow Rock to name just a few features. Open 365 days a year (someone has to feed the fish), you can find some indoor fun and exploring for the entire family all year.

Catch a Live Show or Performance:

As a tourist destination, there are lots of options to catch a live concert, dinner show or entertainment. Here are a few that we love: House of Blues, Pirates VoyageCarolina Opry, Alabama Theatre, Comedy Cabana, Legends in Concert, Medieval Times.

TopGolf:

If the weather looks to be turning bad you may need to jump on this reservation quickly! It's been an extremely popular venue since opening in Myrtle Beach a few years ago. If you’ve never been, think of a bowling alley, but for golf. Bays are covered and heated (when needed), they have lots of fun variations of games, food and drinks are delivered to you, and no experience needed!
